Jeremiah 6:16  ¹⁶ Thus says the LORD: Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.

 We often stand at crossroads in our lives. We make decisions every day, big and little, some which don’t matter much in the grand scheme of things and some that may change the course of our lives forever. Once a decision is made it may be impossible to go back. Our course is set and we must walk that road.

As we face the big decisions in our lives we need guidance to make the right choice. Our compass is God. Our roadmap is the Bible. If we put our trust in the Lord, we will be led along the right paths. We can walk secure in the knowledge that we are going in the direction God has laid out for us. We can be at peace with our decisions and confident with the way we are going.

Take time at the crossroads. Pray. Read. Ask. And when you feel at peace…walk, knowing that the Lord is with you every step of the way.

Lord, guide us at the crossroads of our lives so that we might follow your path for us. Amen.
